DJ Kayo, the sweet sonic sorceress from Japan
has been weaving her magic captivating busy dance floors
over the past 18 months around Australia with her impeccable
music selections and smooth seamless mixing skills playing
everything from progressive through to night time stompers
and euphoric morning journeys. Providing the right balance
of sounds for the moment and leading people to explore
their inner-selves are her intentions.
Her background originated from hard rock, metal, hiphop,
and various styles of electronic dance music. She encountered
psytrance in early 2004 and has never looked back since.
Being part of a loving and fun filled community is one
of her aspirations and that's what attracted her to the
Australian psytrance scene. She has played at all kinds
of venues around Adelaide and Sydney, but her ultimate
favourites are the nature orientated organically created
outdoor Doof experiences.
